Aishwarya Venkatasubramanian, M.Tech

Aishwarya Venkatasubramanian has completed her M.Tech in Genetic Engineering from SRM Institute of Science and Technology in the year 2020 and her B.Tech in Biotechnology from Rajalakshmi Engineering College (affiliated to Anna University) in the year 2018.. She has been associated with GeneAura Pvt Ltd since march 2021 as the Junior Scientific Officer. Aishwarya handles the Research and Education department of GeneAura. Her research experience included exploring the molecular mechanisms of fatty liver disease and its attenuation by polyphenols and gene expression studies of Polypoidal Choroidal Vasculopathy. Aishwarya has interned in premier institutes and is an active participant in several national and international conferences. She is specifically interested in focussing on the molecular mechanisms of diseases. At GeneAura, she is responsible for conducting research on the identification of Single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) that contribute to a deleterious effect on certain genes and are pathogenic to disorders while reporting them to patients. She also guides graduate and undergraduate candidates during their internship and training programs. Aishwarya is also well skilled in documenting scientific protocols and maintains the SOPs of the training department. She works as a team with the interns for research being conducted in GeneAura and enables the publication of the scientific findings as manuscripts in indexed journals. Aishwarya has hosted a number of training and workshops under GeneAura and has trained a number of  diverse participants including students, faculties, research scholars and clinicians for genetic data handling and analysis.
